Since I started stocking these candles, many customers have remarked on “the lovely smell” as they come through the door. As someone who enjoys scented candles myself, I have to agree. They last far longer than any others that I have tried, so they are also good value for money. Not only that, but they are made here in Cornwall

Once considered ugly and old fashioned, the decor of the 70s has made a comeback. After 40 years, the popular earthy colours, browns, olive greens and muted yellows are back in favour. Combined with simple designs, it is a stylish look that can be recreated with great effect.

At this time of year apples are in abundance. They have always held a charm for the artist. They feature in classic still-life, but also make a good subject for other media. It must be something to do with their simple yet pleasing shape and variety of colours.

Autumn has always been a popular subject for Artists due the vibrant colours. The gallery has some nice traditional examples of the English landscape in autumn.

New lines in the gallery include handmade soaps and scented candles. The latter are supplied by the St Eval Candle Company, are made here in Cornwall and smell divine.

The handmade jewellery also comes in some lovely autumnal colours.
